“My current work is inspired by many artists but particularly the serenity and composition of Edward Hopper and the tonal stillness of Giorgio Morandi. It’s an exploration of color and lines using common and abstract geometric shapes, structured and unstructured, and how those objects relate and unite seamlessly with each other.”
An early art teacher nurtured Michele’s artistic spirit by teaching her to trust her own inspiration. What followed has been a search for her core artistic spirit and expression that has included study with various teachers, and experimenting with different styles and mediums. Michele currently works with Tom Wudl, where she is learning to weave new techniques and tools into her art.
