Founded in 2008 Studio Eleven Art is one of Essex's leading contemporary art dealers holding between eight and ten exhibitions annually. Represented artists are also invited to participate in museum exhibitions across the county. The gallery deals in paintings, sculpture and jewellery by prominent local artists. All artwork is for sale in the gallery.

Originally established as the 'Ash Gallery' the gallery has since evolved into an alliance of working artists. Members are collectively responsible for the general upkeep of the gallery and equally share the running costs. Decisions concerning the gallery are made by majority vote after discussions and pooling of ideas at meetings.
